TEHRAN – Iran-Croatia friendship week will be held in Zagreb starting on June 13.

Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Art and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality, and the municipalities of Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Zadar will cosponsor the event.
It is one of a number of festivals that will be held in various countries to familiarize their people with the Iranian culture and identity, Tehran Municipality official Behnam Khadem said in a press release issued on Tuesday.
Several exhibitions of paintings, calligraphy-paintings, graphic art, illumination, and other artistic works created by Iranian artists will be held during the event, he added.
On the sidelines of the event, Aftab Khizan, a folk music band from Gilan Province, will give performances.
Persian cousins and costumes will also be introduced during the festival.
